This database is designed to not only provide an efficient listing mechanism for formations, but also method of analyzing and discussing formation to increase strategic understanding.
Depends. If the opponent has a mud in range to get to the corner square diagonal from the stone, it sucks. :)
Otherwise, if the opponent charges into the gap on the first turn, furgon behind it and beat it down until it's dead (try to save your dsm). If not, furgon up, then stone up, and burn
interesting. dont like how you stone your furgons though, as opposed to the dragon, but i can see the need to.
not sure why you never use a mud in your forms though. can you explain why? I can see how it might affect your shrubbing, but its good at doing hit and runs under the shrubs cover.
I use a mud in most of my forms, actually -- just happens that I posted a lot of my more unusual forms to the Database (trying to spark some innovation). :)
As to stoned furgons, I do it surprisingly regularly -- people just don't seem to wrap their mind around the fact that they can't LW/scout or Dragon/Amby a stoned furgon to death. :)
